However, when the Richardson family moved in during 1967, they reported a series of effects that they deemed to be paranormal.

Reported phenomena included the sounds of footsteps; the closet doors and drawers opening of their own accord; blinds being found raised; the apparition of a "large, tall man" was sighted.
